Kenneth Wong is a Canadian musician from Richmond Hill, Ontario. His musical journey began when he first started learning piano at the age of 6, and moving on to drums and percussion when he turned 12. Under the guidance of Julia Cleveland, Nigel Maynard, and Juno Award-winning Barry Romberg, Kenneth’s drumming has led him to performances at many renowned venues and events, including the Phoenix Ball at The International Centre in Missisauga, the Taste of Asia Street Festival in Scarborough, the Richmond Night Market in Vancouver, and the TD Canada Trust Chinatown Festival in Calgary.
Although Kenneth’s home is mainly on a drum throne, he occasionally works with orchestral percussion. His experiences include the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra, led by the baton of Colin Clarke, and the Richmond Hill Philharmonic Orchestra, directed by Dr. Jessica V. Kun.
