PRIVATE LESSONS POLICIES

ABSENCE

Notice of absence must be received by our office at least 24 hours before the lesson time to qualify for make-up.  Failure to call before the 24 hour mark will result in a charge for the lesson; no make-up lessons will be granted.

In case of sickness, contact us at least 2 hours before your lesson time.  A make-up lesson will be granted if a doctor's note or prescription is presented to the office.

To report absence, please use the “cancellations” tab on our website (www.pro-music.ca), or send us an email (info.rh@pro-music.ca).  We will send you a confirmation email for your record.

Any lessons that will be missed for vacations or for long holiday weekends (Thanksgiving, Easter, etc.) and March Break, can be rescheduled to another date and are uncredited.

Maximum of 4 make-up lessons per school year (Sept – June) will be granted for absences with 24 hours notice.

All make-up lessons must be completed before July 15 of each school year.

Missed lessons may only be rescheduled once.

Credits from student’s cancellations are non-refundable and may only be used towards make-up lessons.

TERMINATION

One month notice is required to withdraw from the program.

An administration fee of $25 will be applied to tuition refunds for withdrawals one month before the first lesson.

Tuition is payable for the duration of the one-month period whether lessons are taken or not.

Credits from missed lessons are non-refundable upon termination.  However, they may be used as tuition towards make-up or other lessons.
